Harissa Breakfast Sausage

Simple. 15 minutes cook for 2.

What you need:

  1. Galanggal's Harissa Sauce

  2. 6 pcs sausages

  3. 2 cloves of garlic

  4. 1/2 large onion

  5. 1/2 capsicum

  6. Some mushroom

  7. 1 ripe tomatoes

  8. 2 tbsp tomato puree

  9. Chilli flakes (optional)


Steps:

  1. 6 pcs of sausages (any flavour, we used chicken), defrost and pan fry with a little oil slightly. Put a side.

  2. Chop 2 cloves of garlic, half a large onion, half of capsicum, some mushrooms and 1 medium ripe tomato.

  3. In a pan, saute chopped garlic and onion, till fragrant.

  4. Add chopped capsicum, mushrooms and tomatoes. Season with some black pepper and chilli flakes (optional). Cook till tender.

  5. Add 2 tbsp of tomato purée, 2 tbsp of harissa sauce and half a cup of water. Let it simmer.

  6. Place the sausages in the sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste and sprinkle with some spring onions once done.

Note: You can also poached eggs in the sauce 😄
